Terms of Service
The terms under which you use Basket Boost, the frequently-bought-together app for Shopify.

1. Acceptance
By installing or using Basket Boost (the "app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app. You must be authorized to act on behalf of the Shopify store on which you install it.
2. The service
Basket Boost mines frequently-bought-together product affinities from your own order line items, ranks per-product recommendations and bundle ideas, and publishes them to a product metafield that a theme block renders. It operates at Protected Customer Data Level 1 and reads no customer PII. See our Privacy Policy for how data is handled.
3. No guarantee of results
Product affinities are measured from your real orders; recommendations are a prediction that an affinity will repeat for new shoppers. Basket Boost does not guarantee any increase in average order value, conversion, revenue, or other sales outcome. Results depend on your catalog, traffic, and merchandising, which are outside our control.
4. Your store & changes
- You retain all rights to your products and store content.
- Basket Boost writes only its own basketboost.fbt product metafield; it never edits your product content, price, or inventory.
- The storefront block is added by you in your theme editor and can be removed at any time.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app: no attempts to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or overload the service, and no use in violation of Shopify's terms or applicable law.
6. Billing
Paid plans are billed through Shopify's managed billing according to the plan and interval you select. Fees are charged via your Shopify invoice. You can change or cancel your plan from within the app; charges already incurred are non-refundable except where required by law.
7. Warranty disclaimer & liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Basket Boost and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the app in the three months preceding the claim.
8. Termination & changes
You may uninstall the app at any time; on uninstall we remove your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may update these terms from time to time; material changes are reflected by the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
